The Return of the King opens

It’s official, the king has returned. I saw him return on opening day, December 18th at 1pm, at Reading Cinema in Wellington, New Zealand. It’s the first time I remember ever being in a movie theatre where people clap at the end. I know I felt like clapping. I thought Return of the King was an excellent movie. Though it’s easier to notice what wasn’t in the movie, or what they changed, the essence of it is there. Peter Jackson has just finished the greatest movie trilogy in human history. Bravo!
