Another Day Goes By

Time passes. Spent this past weekend playing pool, among other things. Went hiking to Pencarrow Lighthouse on Saturday. It was a really nice coastal walk. Next week I do the Southern Crossing, which promises to be much more difficult. Just finished reading The Princess Bride. Yes, there is a book. Actually, there are two books. Goldman said the original was written by S. Morgenstern, and is around 1000 pages long. I read William Goldman’s abridged version, which was quite good. What’s even more interesting is that Morgenstern never existed. Goldman wrote the screenplay for the movie. If you haven’t seen it, then you’ll just have to go through life not understanding why a person would say, “Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. Prepare to die!
